How Do Guardian Spirits Work In Diablo 4 DLC Vessel Of Hatred? (2024)

  • How To Prepare For The Upcoming Diablo 4 Season 5? - A Complete Prep Guide

Diablo 4 Season 5 is coming soon, whether you are a new player or a new player who wants to get back into the game. If you want to have a better gaming experience when you start this dark adventure, then you need to do some preparations in advance.

While some players will want to jump in immediately when Season 5 arrives, other players may also want to lay some foundations to make their next playthrough as smooth as possible. Although you need to start a new character in the new season, you can still feel the benefits of completing certain operations when you start the game again.

Also, please note that each season in Diablo 4 is not a separate full story expansion or DLC, it is just another fun way to play the game with some unique tasks and mechanics. However, some do provide some minor stories for you to explore.

Below, we will provide a list of things to do before starting Diablo 4 Season 5, and the importance of each thing. Remember that all preparations are completely optional, so don’t worry too much if you miss something.

    Keep Going Or Start Directly?

If you’re just beginning your Diablo 4 journey, then you should be ready to start Season 5 right away. However, if you’ve already completed half of the game or have a non-seasonal character in Season 4, our advice is to go ahead and start Season 5 once you’ve finished the story. That way, you can skip Campaign and not waste time doing it twice.

    Reselect A Class & Build

Would you like to continue playing Season 5 with the same class as your previous game? If so, be aware that when Diablo 4 ends, this character will revert to a normal non-seasonal character, just like your other characters, so it may feel like a repetition.

With this in mind, it’s wise to choose a new character class for Season 5 and see what they have to offer.

If you want to try out new builds of existing classes, you can always re-spec them. We recommend using the start of each new season in Diablo 4 as an opportunity to try out a new class each time, as taking advantage of each season’s rewards and gimmicks will help keep the game fresh and varied.

Also, always remember that you can skip Campaign in seasonal content and go straight to the endgame, as long as you have completed Diablo 4 story at least once, either in seasonal or non-seasonal play.

Don’t forget, we have a range of top builds for you to choose from to get the best results with any class, whether in leveling, endgame or PvP.

    Skip Campaign Or Not

While you can choose to experience the story again in Season 5, if you want to jump straight into the new content, then you’re better off skipping Campaign again.

Completing Campaign before starting a new season ensures that you can unlock this skip option. While some players will want to replay Campaign in Season 5 to see and compare results, it’s nice to have the skip option if you need it. Also, don’t forget that Campaign in Diablo 4 was epic and without a doubt one of the most challenging parts of the game.

Remember that if you choose to experience Campaign again in Season 5, you can still skip it at any time if you change your mind.

Of course, you still need to build your character from scratch, but completing seasonal content will allow you to progress fairly quickly, especially if you take advantage of World Tier and Seasonal Journey buffs.

    Get A Mount

In Diablo 4 Season 5, having a horse will make your life much easier, allowing you to traverse the map quickly. To get a horse, you either need to complete Campaign until that quest is unlocked, or simply skip it so that you find yourself with a horse from the start.

This is a great way to get started in Season 5. Of course, as we said before, if you’re just starting the game, you’ll need to complete a Campaign first, as this is where your character gets their first horse.

Unlock All 160 Altars Of Lilith

Since your seasonal character in Diablo 4 will benefit from every Altar of Lilith unlocked by your previous or non-seasonal character, finding all of Altars becomes imperative.

After finding all 160 statues, each of your characters will receive the following stats by default:

    • 68 Strength
    • 68 Intelligence
    • 68 Willpower
    • 68 Dexterity
    • 4 Paragon Points
    • 100 Murmuring Obols Capacity

If you have unlocked all Altars of Lilith, then every new character you start, as well as all your previous characters, will have these boosted stats at the start! This will save you Diablo 4 Gold and time you would have to spend on developing your characters each time, and allow you to jump right into seasonal content and start hacking away!

Of course, it will take a while to find and activate each Altar of Lilith, but you only have to do it once, as the rewards from these Altars apply to all of your characters. Once Altars of Lilith are unlocked, you will notice a significant boost in strength for all of your characters.

    Explore The Entire Map

It is worth exploring the entire map before jumping into Diablo 4 Season 5. This is because you only have to do it once, and all characters thereafter will have the entire map unlocked at the start of the game.

However, if this is your first time playing, don’t worry, just enjoy the game. Remember, the more you travel the map and unlock areas, the more Renown you’ll earn.

If you unlock the map with one character and start another in Season 5, you’ll need to unlock certain Waypoints again, and most Waypoints will be ready as soon as you activate one. Some, though, will be locked behind Strongholds again, which reset for each character.

While this will make your life a little easier, the major benefit is that all Renown you earn from exploring the entire map will carry over as well. This means you’ll get a nice boost at the start of each new game.

In fact, if you skip Campaign, find all Altars of Lilith, and unlock the entire map, you’ll start Season 5 with a total of 3135 Renown from the get-go. This includes the 10 upgrade points at the start and all the extra stats from Altars, giving your new character the best possible start.

    Get The Right Legendary Aspects

Finally, I have to remind you that any Legendary Aspects you unlocked before Season 5 will not carry over. The game will encourage you to find them and complete the various dungeons and bosses again.

So making sure you can go straight to the best location to unlock the aspects you need when you start Season 5, make a note of the dungeons and corresponding aspects that will be most useful for your build.

If you have unlocked the entire map ahead of time, you will be able to know where they are from the beginning. Therefore, doing so will make your life easier in the long run.

In any case, following the above steps to start preparing for the new season may not let you dominate the open world immediately, but it will be enough to make sure you don’t feel overwhelmed when you enter the game. Give it a try! Looking forward to seeing you in the upcoming Season 5.

  • Diablo 4 Blight Golem Minions Necromancer Build: Best Necromancer Starter Build Guide For Season 5

Diablo 4 Season 5 will be officially released on August 6, 2024, and players may need to return to the fiery depths and fight Uber Bosses again. If you are preparing for the new season and trying to defeat Lilith as soon as possible when entering the endgame, there are many ways to build your character to achieve this goal.

Of all the classes, Necromancer allows players to build an Army of the Dead and use dark magic to fight hordes of enemies.

There are many ways to build a Necromancer, but building around the many Blight Golem Minions you can spawn and control can make for a pretty interesting experience. Whether you are trying Minions Necromancer for the first time or you are a seasoned veteran, following this build guide will make your Necromancer a successful boss-shredding killer.

    Skill Tree

With all the options in Necromancer skill tree, some specific skills are best suited for you if you want to build an Army of the Dead.

In the first branch of options, the base skills offered by the skill tree, both Reap and Bone Splinters, are available. Enhanced Reap is usually the first choice for this type of build. Just invest one skill point into whichever skill you choose, and invest another skill point into the improvements.

Saving skill points for more powerful skills later is key to using this build to its full potential, especially since minions are so strong in the early stages of the game.

Once the core skills are unlocked, you can choose either Sever or Blight and only invest one skill point into either. Sever is strong against physical attackers, and the additional skill Paranormal Sever allows a third cast to make enemies Vulnerable. Blight is also strong as a ranged magic option, as the addition of Supernatural Blight allows your Minions to deal a lot of extra damage to Blighted targets.

If you can’t decide between the two, the bonus to minions damage from Supernatural Blight is usually the stronger choice. But be aware that abusing this ability will cause your Essence to disappear quickly, so use it with caution.

As for Corpse and Macabre skills, you just need to focus on improving the buffs they bring to your build.

Skeletal Warrior Mastery will only make your Warrior Minions more powerful, while Grim Harvest and Fueled By Death will make future synergies even more powerful. Feel free to invest as many skill points into your Harvest skills as you want, but make sure to fully upgrade Warrior Mastery.

Next, unlocking Curse Skills will give you the newest key ability: Decrepify. It slows down enemies and reduces their damage output for 10 seconds, but its Essence cost is a negligible 10.

When you max out a Curse Skill, you have a chance to gain Abhorrent Decrepify skill, which gives you a chance to reduce the cooldown of all your skills when hitting a cursed enemy. In the same branch, max out Skeletal Mage Mastery for the same reasons as Warrior Mastery.

The second branch of Corpse and Macabre skills offers Corpse Tendrils, an excellent Crowd Control ability that doesn’t consume any corpses. Invest a skill point in it and unlock Plague Corpse Tendrils to add some Vulnerable effects to your enemies. Then, max out Necrotic Carapace skill to increase your overall tankiness.

Last but not least are Ultimate Skills and Key Passives. Army of the Dead is what we desperately need, so max it out. Then max out Golem Mastery, Inspiring Leader, and Hellbent Commander to increase the power of your Minions.

Of course, you can also get Kalan’s Edict Key Passive to increase the attack speed of all your Minions. After that, you just fill out the rest of the skills to your liking to complete your skill tree.

    Uber Unique Items

In addition, there are Uber Unique items that players can rarely get. Many of these Diablo 4 items are applicable to almost any gear, but Harlequin Crest Unique Helm is particularly useful for Minions gear, significantly reducing damage and improving skills.

Other good choices include Ring of Sacrilegious Soul, which automatically uses powerful Corpse skills for you without consuming Essence.

    Book Of The Dead

For Necromancer, Book of the Dead is how you customize the damage output of your Minions, from Shadow to Ice or Blood damage, and it’s broken down into three sections that connect to different types of Minions: Warriors, Mages, and Golems.

Each Minion then gets to choose a damage type from three choices, and then one of three effects from each choice. For this specific Blight Golem Minions Necromancer build, the best choices are:

    • Reaper Warriors with the second effect: 15% chance to form a corpse when attacking.
    • Shadow Mages with the first effect: 3% more damage per Shadow Mages.
    • Blood Golems with the second effect: Shared healing and more damage reduction.

Of course, there are other good choices, including Cold damage for Mages, and Iron Golems for stuns.

    Paragon Board

Once you’ve completed your Skill Tree, the only thing left to focus on and customize, aside from your inventory, is how to use your Paragon Board. Understanding how to allocate your Paragon Points wisely is the best way to improve your build after level 50.

The way to incorporate Paragon Board is through the different types of Skill Trees, and the best glyphs are centered on enhancing your Golem or all of your Minions. In short, look for glyphs that benefit your Willpower, Intelligence, and Maximum Life.

    Legendary Aspects

Finally, we’ll look at which Aspects are best for Minions Necromancer builds. In Diablo 4, Weapons, Armor, and Shields all have a chance to have Aspects, which are unique buffs that usually belong to a specific class.

Necromancer is no exception, and has a number of useful Aspects that can make specific builds more powerful. To obtain them, you can either collect them through random loot or by destroying gear with Aspects at Blacksmith, then adding them to items with Occultist.

If you want to see what Aspects you have available, go to the in-game menu and click on Collections. Codex of Power will list all Aspects you have unlocked. Some of the best Aspects for this build include:

    • Reanimation
    • Hardened Bones
    • Blood Getter
    • Grasping Veins
    • Unyielding Commander

Each of these provides a significant boost to your gear, such as Reanimation increasing Minions damage and Unyielding Commander giving an enormous boost to your Army of the Dead ultimate.

That’s all we know about this Blight Golem Minions Necromancer Build. Follow this guide and you’ll be able to use it to its full potential and excel in Diablo 4 Season 5!

  • In-Depth Analysis Of Vox Omnium In Diablo 4 Season 5 PTR

Diablo 4’s Loot Reborn update was a tremendous success, with a ton of new features and quality of experience improvements to existing systems and mechanics that have brought the game to life and a large influx of players.

People are already looking forward to Season 5, and the official PTR server was recently opened for PC players to allow players to test out some upcoming features before Season 5 launches, which also allows fans to see new unique gear and mechanics in advance. In this post I will mainly take you through one of the interesting items introduced in the season 5 PTR-Vox Omnium.

Vox Omnium Can Enhance Basic Attacks And Skill Synergy

In previous seasons, Vox Omnium was very uncoordinated and needed more support, perhaps other useful legendary aspects or something like that. For example, it can trigger those Frost Bolts, or it can trigger Sparks for buffs, or even Fire Bolt for burning. In fact, many Sorcerer builds run through burning, such as from Firebolt Enchantment, and you can probably free up an Enchantment Slot here.

But it seems to be designed as a basic attacks build in the Season 5 PTR, because it will enhance the damage of setting basic attacks, which is a very powerful basic attack item, and basically all basic attacks are used, such as using a new Rafael or directly placing Aspect of the Moonrise on your two-handed weapon. It also has the added benefit that you can cast other skills while casting basic attacks. Finally, it is undeniable that the design of Vox Omnium is very attractive.

Enhance The Effect Of Paingorger’s Basic Attacks Through Charged Bolts

If you want Paingorger’s Gauntlets to be a very powerful basic attack tool, you can run this tool in the setup, and then you can use spamming Charged Bolts to apply the shock effect. Unless there are some special situations that do not apply, such as Fire Bolt, already have its own gloves, so you can’t use it.

But for most basic attacks builds, hitting an enemy once every 3 seconds with something that isn’t a basic skill is the main thing, and you can just send Charged Bolts to apply this debuff to all enemies on the screen.

    Frost Bolt DPS Build

But the same synergy doesn’t work well with a Frost Bolt build, Paingorger will only copy the first attack, and when hitting four times like a Vox Omnium spark, only the first attack will be copied, and it won’t do any significant damage.

Vox Omnium with Fire Bolt already has its own build, and it’s basically unnecessary and can’t be used in conjunction with anything else. For example, Flameweavers Gloves can split Fire Bolt into multiple ones, but in fact it doesn’t even interact, so you basically only have one choice, which is to use a Frost Bolt DPS build to send a core skill and try to deal damage with it.

Challenges Of Frost Bolt DPS Build And Potential Of Vox Omnium

You can try to use a Frost Bolt DPS build to send a core skill and deal damage with it. But few players seem to notice that the Sorcerer is the weakest class. Frost Bolt is almost nowhere to be found in this build, because it just slightly enhances the non-existent Frost Bolt build, which basically does nothing.

If you want to see any type of viable option here, you may need to equip a Raphael’s gun, equip Ring of Starless Skies, and equip Crown of Lucion. Maybe you can use Frost Bolt DPS skills to make a better Sorcerer build than using Vox Omnium. If you have enough Diablo 4 Gold, you can trade it for any equipment you want.

But because it is so weak, maybe there will be no other support, such as Rapid Aspect, or you talk about Aspect of basic attacks or Aspect of the Moonrise. And Frost Bolt doesn’t start from anywhere, so a lot of extra strength needs to be added to it.

    Ailments Mechanics During Boss Fights

Besides that, you have the same old problems as when it comes to boss damage. You see, it’s just typical ailments, same as with Rogue, you can only do any kind of damage during the stagger phase of the boss. If you have any kind of long boss fights or you can’t stagger them well, you really won’t have a lot of fun. Maybe something like a general class redesign where there’s less reliance on stagger, or maybe a stagger redesign that doesn’t do damage, it just has no purpose when it comes to this item. It’s kind of like a death on arrival item.

To sum it up, while he looks cool, he’s really weak. Vox Omnium can only do Frost Bolt DPS builds, so it’s pretty low viability, regardless.

  • This Feature May Be Introduced To Bring A Better Gaming Experience In Diablo 4 Season 6 - New UI, Class And More

It is reported that Diablo 4 will add some tools in Season 6, such as HUD compass, audio navigation, automatic fixed tasks and other functions. The addition of these features is to reduce the difficulties we encounter during the game. The developer also admitted that these purposes are to improve our gaming experience as much as possible.

Although everything Diablo 4 has done so far is positive, there are still some very basic features missing, which are not conducive to our gaming experience. But fortunately, the developer is actively looking for ways to solve them.

For tracking and navigating on a game map of Diablo 4, it is a very boring thing, and it is easy to make people question it for some players. For modern games, accessibility is a very important issue, but even if you take a step back, even if navigation is not the core content of a game, at least it cannot be a hindrance to a game.

At present, the developer has confirmed that there are indeed some navigations in development, which may be available to everyone in the near future. Moreover, the features mentioned above may be launched in Season 6 at the earliest. There is still some time before Season 6. Although the launch time of these features is still uncertain, we at least have expectations for the game.

The Developer Uses UI To Make The Game Smoother

Among the features that will be launched in Season 6, the developer specifically emphasized the three features of HUD compass, audio navigation, and automatic fixed tasks. These three features should have been available when the game was launched, but it is better to do it later than not.

HUD arrow is to add a pointing arrow to the game to ensure that players will not get lost in the game. Automatically mark tasks. When the player accepts a task, it can automatically mark it on the map and plan the most suitable route. The audio navigation function helps players with visual impairments to track targets and mark them more easily. When activating a task, Diablo 4 will have a voice prompt to guide the player to complete the task.

The above functions are obviously indispensable for a game. This game is prepared for players. If some necessary navigation functions are missing, it is not a joyous thing for the game. But at least the developers are listening to the opinions expressed by players in the community.

New DLC Brings Some New Classes And Regions

In addition to the updated navigation system, a new chapter of Sanctuary will be released in Season 6 along with the much-anticipated Vessel of Hatred expansion. It is reported that this new DLC will include some of the darkest content in the series.

This paid DLC will be officially released on October 8. As the base game, it will introduce a lot of new content, new classes, and new areas. Of course, the update will also bring some new opportunities to obtain Diablo 4 Gold. In addition, some specific classes in the game can also get some exclusive rewards, just to ensure that everyone can find their own fun in game.

In terms of new features, the biggest content updated in Vessel of Hatred should be Nahantu region. This region itself is located in the southern part of the map in the base game. The biggest difference between Nahantu region and Sanctuary region is that Nahantu region is full of jungles, lush branches and leaves, and reveals shadows and killing everywhere. But for veterans of the RPG franchise, this region is not unfamiliar, as Nahantu region appeared in Diablo II’s third act.

    New Class Appearance - Spirtborn

For existing classes, using some new tools to eliminate the wild foes of Nahantu is a simple matter, but for Spirtborn, this matter is still new. Spirtborn occupies a large part of DLC promotion. Because Spirtborn appears in this series for the first time, everyone is looking forward to what kind of strength he can show.

The developer describes Spirtborn as the apex predators of the jungle, and his power comes from the souls of his ancestors and his power as a guardian of nature.

Developer’s RPG game has been working hard for updates. Whether players are more looking forward to the emergence of new navigation tools or launch of Vessel of Hatred, we hope that the developer’s updated content can bring us a more comfortable gaming experience. Players who are eager for new content can pre-order new DLC to unlock some different pets. We can choose snow leopards, tigers or some other canines.

Many people think that the pet system, like the navigation system, should be available at the beginning of the game, but fortunately it is finally online. As long as the result is good, it is not afraid of being late. The above is the introduction of new features and the analysis of new content. We still need more official news to learn more.

  • Diablo 4 Shadow Flurry Rogue Build: A Complete Guide To The Best Rogue Leveling Build In Season 4

Diablo 4 Season 5 is almost here. Are you eager to upgrade your character and build as soon as possible to get a better start when entering the new season? Here, we will share a top leveling build for Rogue class, Shadow Flurry Rogue.

But that doesn't mean it can't be used to clear the endgame. This build is able to deal a lot of AoE damage by firing Imbue Flurry, allowing you to easily clear groups of monsters. Besides this, we have used many of the same concepts and pushed them to the extreme. So if you are looking for a best Rogue leveling build in Season 4, don’t miss this guide!

    Gameplay

Shadow Flurry has always been a fun build that can quickly clear enemies, and since Season 3, it has a lot of additional clearing power in the form of Icy Alchemist’s Aspect and Toxic Alchemist’s Aspect.

What’s more, these now trigger simply by using Shadow Imbuement skill, rather than requiring the enemy to be affected by Ailments. Combined with Aspect of Elements, we are able to deal massive amounts of damage.

On the defensive side of things, we’re going to rely on Daze and Knockdown enemy abilities as our primary forms of defense. We’re also going to utilize Concealment and Aspect of Lethal Dusk for stealth. Not only will this give us some passive healing, but it’ll also give us more uptime on Shadow Imbuement with Nightstalker glyph.

To round out our defense, we’re going to use a combination of Momentum Key Passive and Aspect of Stolen Vigor. These skills, when stacked, will give us a ton of damage reduction as well as a ton of in-combat healing. Since we’ll be applying Dazed constantly, we’ll often be maxing out this effect.

    Skills

Next, we’ll discuss each of the skills we use and explain what each one does and how they fit into the build.

    Puncture

Puncture is always a solid base skill for Rogue to use, giving us an easy way to apply Vulnerable. Depending on the situation, in most encounters, we probably only need to use it a few times to win.

    Flurry

Flurry is an exceptional skill, and paired with Aspect of Encircling Blades, we’ll hit the entire area around us multiple times. While its Lucky Hit Chance is low, the number of enemies we can hit and the number of hits we can get more than make up for it. This allows it to trigger our Lucky Hit effect frequently, giving us a lot of damage and utility.

    Shadow Step

We mainly use Shadow Step for movement. It has a low cooldown, and it only gets shorter as we stack cooldown reduction, making it very reliable.

More importantly, its Lucky Hit Chance makes it a great tool for triggering Alchemist procs. The only downside is that Shadow Step is a single-target, so you only get one set of blasts.

    Concealment

Concealment isn’t always the best option, but on-demand stealth can go a long way in defense. We mainly use it to lower the cooldown of Shadow Imbuement and trigger a guaranteed crit to daze enemies. We’ll also get a nice boost to our defense thanks to Resistant Assailant’s Aspect and be able to reduce its cooldown fairly frequently.

    Shadow Imbuement

Shadow Imbuement itself increases AoE potential of Flurry, as any enemy affected by Shadow Infection will explode when defeated.

    Shadow Clone

Shadow Clone is our ultimate of choice. With Aspect of Imitated Imbuement, it will not only echo our Imbue Flurry casts, but will also provide more opportunities to trigger Icy Alchemist’s Aspect and Toxic Alchemist’s Aspect.

    Unique Items

This build makes use of multiple Diablo 4 Items, but here we’ll only discuss the few that provide the strongest effects to the build. These are the ones you really want to slot into the build if you have the chance. You can unlock most of these items at World Tier 3, but once you get them, the build gets a nice upgrade.

    Cowl Of The Nameless

Cowl of the Nameless is a Unique Helm that gives us easy access to cooldown reduction and increased Lucky Hit Chance. It even has a now-rare melee damage reduction.

However, the trade-off here is that we lose Tempering, which means less overall cooldown reduction for Concealment and generally lower defense.

    Grasp Of Shadow

Grasp of Shadow is a pair of Unique Gloves that also provides most of the features we want from gloves, namely Attack Speed and Flurry Ranks. If you are lucky enough to use it with a higher Core Skill Rank affix, it will greatly increase our damage.

Worst-case scenario, we only lose Critical Chance and a little Max Health. This is usually okay though, as the buffs it brings are usually more important.

    Yen’s Blessing

Yen’s Blessing is a pair of Unique Boots that provide many of the features we want from boots, mainly the movement speed buff.

    Aspects

Next, we’ll look at some Legendary Aspects that can maximize the potential of this build.

    • Aspect of Elements
    • Aspect of Encircling Blades
    • Aspect of Initated Imbuement
    • Icy Alchemist’s Aspect
    • Toxic Alchemist’s Aspect
    • Aspect of Concussive Strikes
    • Aspect of Stolen Vigor
    • Resistant Assailant’s Aspect

    Paragon Board

Paragon Boards are a feature available at level 50. These boards allow us to spend Paragon points gained from leveling up to enhance our character.

    • Starter Board: Like all Starter Boards, this one provides general damage and defense.
    • Exploit Weakness: This will allow us to apply a stacking damage bonus when hitting vulnerable enemies, and this will affect almost every enemy in our vicinity at all times.
    • Eldritch Bounty: When we use Shadow Imbuement, Eldritch Bounty increases our Shadow resistance and Shadow damage
    • Cheap Shot: This gives us a damage bonus to each crowd-controlled enemy nearby, and we will be constantly Dazing enemies, so this helps a lot in our siege.
    • Cunning Stratagem: It does provide some conveniently placed armor and core skill damage that is also useful.
